São João de Ver is one of the most populous Parishes in the Municipality of Santa Maria da Feira, recording in the preliminary results of the 2021 Census a resident population of 11,033 individuals, an increase of 4.3% compared to the 2011 Census. Preliminary analysis of the results of the 2021 Census indicates a positive variation between 2011 and 2021, with regard to the number of households (10.2%), accommodation (38%) and buildings (4.6%).
